Aries Road is an American rock band formed by songwriters Ryan & Ashley McCarty. The duo has been married since 2006 and released their first single California in July 2008. By 2009, the couple had finished self-producing their full-length debut album Keyholder. Following that release, they went back to the drawing board to redefine their music. Planning to release a triple set of consecutive EP’s, they began recording sessions at January Sound Studios. The first single Cloudburst was released in 2010 and Closer To Me surfaced the following year. Ashley and Ryan are currently collaborating with studio bassist Kirk Powers (Deborah Gibson, American Tears) and percussionist Mike Gage of Engagement Productions, Inc. Aries Road has announced that the first EP will be released in February 2012.
